It kicks over & has good compression. The inside of the fuel tank is in fair shape, ith no major rust issues that would compromise the integrity of its structure. A little rust remover will clean this tank right out. The points cover is missing & the left frame side cover is not present. parts are easy to find on ebay!
However it is a good roller and great candidate for restoration! ______________________________________________________________ The HondaCL100was a4-strokesingle cylinderstreet motorcyclesold byAmerican Honda Coin the U.S. in the early 1970s. The CL designation indicated this model to be the "Scrambler" version which implied some off-road capability. (This was before real dirt-bikes were gaining popularity.) It was really just a street bike with a higher rear fender, braced handlebar, nd a high-mount exhaust. The CL100 was a full-featured motorcycle with a 100 cc 4 stroke engine 5-speed transmission with manual clutch, igh mount exhaust with chrome heat-shield, ull electrical system, ncluding headlight (hi/lo beam), aillight, rakelight, urn-signals, orn, peedometer with neutral light, igh-beam indicator, nd odometer. The 100 cc engine produced 11.5HPaccording to Honda. This was sufficient to propel the bike with a small rider to about 70 mph. The CL100 was also available in a model designated CL100S, hich had a governer to reduce power to 5 HP to meet some state restrictions for younger operators.
