2003 Honda Motorcycle 1800VTX - 15,000 Miles Garaged Clean Burgundy Leather

If you are reading this page, ou probably already know about the VTX. It's a tank. It's a muscular motorcycle that sits larger than most Harleys. It has a throaty sound and because it's shaft driven, t has incredible torque.

This bike is like riding your dad's couch. It's cozy. And with the passenger seat sitting slightly above yours, ou havenice lumbar back support.

This bike has custom leather seating, ncluding a comfortable passenger seat with back. The seats and saddlebags are all leather and have been maintained in great condition.

There is only one bit of surface scratching at the location my belt-buckle. Not too noticeable and just scratches (not gauges).

Bike stays on a trickle charge. Tires should be replaced in 1000 miles. I own other bikes but nothing like this. This bike has been trouble-free (unlike my Ducati). I use the bike for infrequent rides (not a commuter bike).

The Honda VTX was the largest displacement V-twin in the world for a time. The VTX 1800 produced record-setting0-60mph and 1/4 mile times.

VTX stands for V-Twin Extreme.

In addition to the 52° V-twin layout, owertrains include:

• radiator with cooling fan;
• cylinder heads with two intake valves;and a single, arger, xhaust valve;
• rocker arms with screw-and-locknut clearance adjusters;
• electronic control unit with 3-D ignition maps for each cylinder;
• two spark plugs per cylinder;
• dry sump oil system with the oil tank inside the gearbox case;
• shaft final-drive.
