2001 XR650 Chopper Honda KR650L

Up for sale is this rigid, il-in-frame chopper that I built last year for the Dirtbag Challenge (google it). The bike is about 98% finished, ut is NOT currently running. I had some issues with the wiring/firing and it will need going through as well as needing the tail light wired up. Motor is solid. This is a perfect bar hopper in the right hands, ut I recommend those hands have some mechanical ability. Everything is built by me and is strong and true with the original neck with VIN number clearly visible.
Battery box is built for an anti-gravity 12-cell battery but will not come with one. Clean New York State title in hand. The frame is currently sandblasted bare so that it can oxidize and the engine, heels, ork lowers and triple trees are painted in high-temp flat black. The seat is sprung comfortably for my weight of 185lbs. A 5'10"-6'2" male will feel very comfortable on this bike.
I don't really want to sell it, ut as projects come and go, need to clear some space and could use the money. If the whole bike doesn't sell, 'll be parting it out. The engine is worth far more by itself than in the whole bike, elling like this for my own convenience and so that this bike can live out its glory with the right owner.

DELIVERY/PICK UP****It is currently located in Norfolk, A and I will be hauling other parts/bikes from there through New York and then over to Chicago at the end of February. For $50 of gas money, can deliver this bike within 50 miles of:- I-95 in Virginia, aryland, elaware, ew Jersey and New York- I-80 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania- I-90 in Ohio, ndiana and Illinois.
