1980 Honda XL 500s

I am selling this awesome 1980 XL 500s to make room in the garage.   I bought it from a former '80s era Honda mechanic who went through the entire bike and made it like new. I have since completed decals. clear coat and other cosmetic items and added a few missing parts.   I love the bike but I have the bug now to venture out and go for longer rides and I will be buying a new bike.   I don't have room to keep it since I also have a nearly perfect 1980 XL 250s.   This bike is tight and the mileage appears to be original.  It's a blast to ride and has lots of power.   The tires are new as you can see from the photos.   The only thing that doesn't work is that I noticed that the turn signals were not flashing.   I ordered a new flasher relay that will come with the bike if I don't have time to install it.   I also have a shop manual for it.   This bike is nearly perfect and as clean as you will find.   Everything is original except for the front turn signals and the Supertrap exhaust.  It is my hope that this bike will go to a collector who can appreciate that it.  I am advertising this bike locally and reserve the right to end this auction at any time.   Seller is responsible for transportation.
