1980 HONDA XR500 TWIN SHOCK CLASSIC ENDURO

Just arrived from the sunny USAll original 1980 Honda XR500 enduro classicThe bike has come from a sunny climate. is all original and in very nice condition. The bike has a nice patina and has sun faded plastics. The tank has scratches and the odd small dint but nothing significant. It's all there. still has original exhaust system and has its original speedo!Still has its original 23" front wheelRecent new tyres. Showing circa 7000 miles on the clockThe bike starts first or second kick. runs beautifully with no top end rattle. idles great and pulls like a train through the gears. The engine is very responsive off the throttle. The only thing it is missing are the black side panel decals which have obviously worn off over the years. I do have a new pair which will go with the bike!The bike is not UK registered but does come with the original US title and NOVA showing all duties paid. This enables simple registration for use on UK roads. simply obtain an MOT. nsure the bike on its VIN. fill in the V55/5 from DVLA . send off your £55 reg fee and in roughly 10 days you will receive the registration number and V5 showing you as 1st owner in the UK. Simples!Rare rare rare in this original condition. They are only original once. It's not perfect. but it is a 34 year old off roader/enduro bike so that's to be expected!
