Honda CRM 250 Mk2 1993

Up for auction is my 1993 Honda CRM 250 Mk2. I bought this bike in July for a weeks holiday in the Spanish Pyranees that I have just returned from. I was always going to sell it on my return to help fund my wedding. I think the best thing to do is list the good and bad points:Good Points;MOT runs out 2/4/15V5 PresentJust to be clear the bike is a grey import but were imported by leisure trail into the UK so they can sell you spares and accessories and ebay has quite a lot. Grey import status seems to cause no issues I insured it for £110 with no no claimsThe milage is in kilometers and equates to less than 14000milesThe model has a reputation as one of the best trail bikes ever made and seems to be becoming a bit of a classic. It has 3 ignition keysStarts wellHas new Boyesen reed valves (one weeks use)Has new RK chain (one weeks use)Sprockets are steel and in good conditionBenefits from auto lube system so you just top it up with two stroke oil every 2 or 3 tanks of petrol usedEngine sounds fine. produces good power. and the carburettor is well setupGreat bike to ride and can deal with anything from serious off road technical sections to everyday commuting I have the rear indicators ready for fitting and they will be with the bike. Also comes with new spare front and rear brake pads

Bad Points:

I haven't had a chance to clean the air filter after the last ride and might not before the end of the auctionThe swingarm bearings and rear linkage bearings are showing some wear and would benefit from renewal. The graphics have been applied in a slightly hamfisted way but new graphics sets are elsewhere on ebayThe tyres are past their best for off road use but still work ok.
