2000 Honda Blackbird project spares or repair, no time!

I'm embarressed to admit I've owned this blackbird from new. but as my collection of bikes grew it fell down the pecking order till it became my winter bike.

Listed again as unfortunately a buyer failed to collect it after several weeks

I slipped off it at low speed in the works car park! more embarressment!

Then for the last couple of years it has sat at the back of the garage looking sorry for itself. I did start with some TLC with the intention of putting it back on the road. I went to start it a couple of weeks ago and the fuel pump isn't priming. probably something simple but I just don't have the time for it any more as I now work away from home. I have a 1972 Z1 in bits that needs my very limited time far more than the Blackbird. So it will probably sit at the back of the garage for a few more years unless someone else does the job.

On sorn

The radiator is from an X11 (Same engine). the old one was corroded from winter use. for the rest of the bike the finish has resisted the winter pretty well.

No battery. died from lack of use.

Regularly serviced when in use by me. 1st service and major service at 24k by dealer.

Was running sweet as a nut before being laid up

Damage was a small scuff on genny cover (pic 4). very small scuff on left can (pic 5). small scuff on left side panel (pic 6). small scuff on left mirror pod (pic 7)

I binned the broken top fairing. and the unscuffed tail unit become the fairing on a home made gokart!! I sold the front mudguard with a very tiny lip scuff to someone who needed it. hence the miss matched body work. Tank has a dent from a lock dropping on it from the garage roof but I have a spare tank with no dents. Primed top fairing is cracked

Those are new discs. comes with 2 Honda HISS keys and all the books/paperwork

I've painted a black picture but as you can see from the close up picture it is still in pretty good condition. it will make someone a tidy bike
