2001 HONDA CBR 600 F

Hi there. This is my Honda CBR600F that I brought about a year ago at the time it had been recently serviced and revamped. the Fairings and Tank were destickered. rubbed down and resprayed in Pearl White.  It has now covered just over 52. 00 miles but has been well maintained.  

The bike was serviced with the best possible parts. K&N Air Filter. K&N Oil Filter. Castrol Power 1 Racing Oil. Iridium Plugs.  DID Chain and Sprocket set. Dan Moto Can. and a set of Bridgestone BT016 tyres. stainless new nuts and bolts inc well nuts. All this was a pretty sum of around £700 only 2000 miles ago.  I have used the bike for commuting. approximately 25 mile round trip however due to working overseas for protracted periods my bike is no longer required.  I also opted to replace the horrid stalk front indicators with a set of LED repeaters. and swapped out the mirrors for Fireblade style one with the indicators built in. The rear indicators have also been removed as the orange lens looked dated. where as the clear lens/orange bulb don't. I also fitted some Xenon bulbs which make an huge difference. along with a new battery.  The bike already had heated grips. a tail tidy Scott Oiler. and a double bubble tinted screen which are all fantastic. Comes with the original exhaust. nbsp;the frame is very tidy and it also has front crash bungs if dropping bikes is your thing!!

There are a couple of age related scars which I will try and be as honest as possible. The engine clutch cover is slightly grazed. there's about an inch scratch on the tank and a very small scuff on the exhaust. The exhaust is quite loud but I have the original can that will go with the bike (best to be heard in my opinion. less chance of being knocked off).

However that said. the bodywork. wheels. tyres and drive train are all as new. Please only serious bidders. this is not for the faint hearted. They are mind bogglingly quick. with a very low insurance group for a sports bike. so please do your homework before buying.  I ride with utter most mechanical sympathy. letting the bike warm up accordingly before opening the throttle. Regular fluid checks although the bike doesn't use any. Yes I have wound the bike up from time to time. but again only when it's safe and legal to do so ensuring that the engine has warmed up to optimal temperature.  They are an ideal first bike for anyone. ticking most boxes on a buyer list. This being a fuel injection model they are easier to maintain. with looks of a new bike. and parts are readily available everywhere. As said insurance is cheap. tax is cheap and running cost are low. Other than the hassle with British weather they're a doddle to ride.  V5 is in my name. along with some other paperwork. MOT and booklets.  There is also 2 x original keys and 2 x alarm/immobiliser fobs (datatool). If you have any questions please feel free to contact me on 07891 559807.
