Honda Scrambler CL360 with 997 Original Miles

Hard to believe. but yes. this bike has just 997 original miles.  And its condition is quite impressive.  You will look long and hard before you find another 40 year old bike this nice and original. This bike had been sitting in a garage for more than two decades.  What happened was the previous owner was on the bike and it got away from him and he gently dropped the bike -- you will see a few minor scratches on the front fender if you look closely in the pics.  From that point on. the owner was gun shy of the bike and it sat.  Then one day he decided to give/sell it to a family member who rode it a short while. got tired of it and stored it in his garage.  When I bought the bike it was covered in dust. didn't run and needed a lot of T-L-C. I'm not a mechanic but I sought out the foremost expert on vintage Hondas -- Bill Silver. also know as "Mr. Honda. "  Google him.  You will see he has written many books on the subject. After taking the bike to Bill. I gave him full authority to do whatever to revive this bike.  In fact. you can read all about how he revived the bike by googling "Bill Silver Honda CL360 Where Have You Been"In addition to an overall service. Bill did the following: installed new plugsdrained gascomplete rebuild of the carbssynched the carbsnew petcocknew gas linesnew batteryAnd the list goes on.  This bike is super fun to ride. it has a 6 speed transmission and is a sure head turner.  I need to clean out the garage and sell a few bikes and I hate that this is one of them. but such is life.  I have 100 percent feedback so bid with confidence.  If you have a question: ASK.  This bike is on a no reserve auction -- whatever it sells for is whatever I get paid.  This bike is sold as is. where is.
