HONDA CB750 F1 SOHC

1976 Honda CB750F1 Super Sport25. 00 milesMOT expires 23rd Feb 2015 / passed last MOT with no advisoriesPlenty of life left in tyres and chain / sprocketsForks recently rebuilt with new stanchions/ seals and oilSeat base and cover in good conditionMotad aftermarket exhaust (originals are very difficult to come by) in excellent conditionStarts and runs wellThe bike is currently SORN (since the end of August) but until then was being used a couple of times a week for commuting to work.  I am reluctantly selling it but I want something with more modern brakes. Bad pointsThe paint on the tail section behind the seat is worn thin in a couple of places. The engine has been painted at some time in the past and that paint is flaking off. however the surface below is fine. There is some damage to the engine cover on the left hand side at the bottom. not really visible whilst standing looking at the bikeThere is some pitting on the chrome wheels but that is minor. The drain plug on one of the carbs cannot be removed as it appears to have been repaired with some type of liquid metalAll of the above defects lists were pre existing when I purchased the bike.  Since I have owned it I have had the carbs stripped and serviced. the front forks rebuilt and replacement chain/sprockets and exhaust fitted.  The bike has just had a new set of spark plugs fitted and the fuelling adjusted.  I have always kept the bike in a dry garage overnight.  Please bear in mind that this bike is 38 years old and has not been restored so has all the usual age related marks you would expect from a vehicle this age.
