1979 honda xr500 sz twinshock

welcome to my auction for my 1979 honda xr500sz. i purchased the machine from well known importers dk motorcycles. i hold all relevant papers including proof of paid import duty and the american title. its an easy process to get an age related registration as i have done it a few times. i bought this with the intention to get mot and ride as it is because i like the age patina!. i started getting it ready for an mot and have fitted new wheel bearings. brand new jts sprocket and gold chain set. ew levers. ront brake cable and oil change i am also supplying a pair of new side panel decals and tank decals. t also has its original tool kit in rear bag but alas some of it is missing. ut due to more work commitments and a xl600 to restore i am selling. these are hard to find unmolested and this is about original as they come . it starts second kick and engine runs sweet as a nut. havent got lights going as it needs new bulbs. there is a dent in the tank and obviously other age related marks as she is 35 years old . ut still lifts the front end up in first 3 gears. ve owned  half a dozen of these over the years and the condition is testament to honda build quality. he exhaust is rot free the bike will need new tyres and seat cover . he airbox is original and complete . he stanchions are rust free the speedo is showing 7000 miles but the speedo cable is missing. the wheels are exellent and it has the original rear shocks which seem not to leak . he area around the top yoke including speedo and choke pull seem as fresh as year it wad made!this machine will be an easy restoration or ride as is. pick up only with cash i dont want your 10 year old astra van. bidders with feedback of under 10 please message me before you bid or i will have to remove  it. oz its nothing personal but the problems i have with these bidders drives me nuts. i also am going to put this on a classified ad . ood luck chaps. ark
