1993 Honda CBR 900 Fireblade 21459 Miles This is a truly iconic bike that are becoming rare to find in this condition. When released this bike redefined the big sports bike market. This was one of the main reasons for me looking for one of these bikes. After years of commuting on big bikes I decided to swap to a scooter and treat myself to something for the odd weekend ride when I got bored of the scooter. So out went my 850 BMW. in came a Honda C90 and my CBR 900 was purchased with the full intention of not using her much apart from the odd weekend rides during the summer. I took a while to find a bike that wasn't a wreck. The previous owner had his own bike collection of bikes that he couldn't afford when young. but he could now. and was only selling the blade as he had bought a Rotherham livery sp 250. The weekend rides have become much rarer than expected so I have decided to sell. Its that or go on a crash diet to fit into my leathers. I have covered less than 500 miles since I bought the bike in 2010. The bike is in excellent condition and rides perfectly. I have insured it on a classic policy due to my limited use. I have a Full MOT history to back up the mileage of the bike except for 1998. The bike has a Spy-ball Alarm Fitted. and I have 2 alarm key fobs. I also have the alarm paperwork from when it was fitted in 2000. The bike is MOT'd till June 2015The bike is taxed till Nov 2014I have 2 Keys. The rear hugger was on the bike when I purchase it. The carbon frame protectors were on the bike when i bought it and I have left them on. The bike is old enough to have endured a lot of fads thankfully no other add ons feature. All I have done to the bike is take off the loud end can and fit the silver end can that came with the bike. From the photo's you can see that the fairing has a stone chip that has been touched up. The mudguard also has a stone chip. The riders seat is normally secured by 2 screws but one of the brackets is broken so is only secured by one screw. but the seat doesn't move around. One of the wing mirrors has some marks on it at the stem end so I assume when folded in it has been grazed a wall while on the side stand. I had intended to fix the the issues listed above but decided to leave as is. as it made no difference to me. but I wanted to point these out to any potential bidder.
