Honda Fireblade trackday bike or use on the road with daytime only MOTYou are bidding on my super Honda track-day bike I bought in February as a possible starting point for a 1960s race replica.  I have to drastically reduce the number of bikes I own as I need the space quite soon so. however regrettably. its got to go. As my racing days are over and I don't do track-days. I have just used it for a few summer blasts around. I fitted new Pirelli Diablos. rear brake pads & a carbon type Hugger to keep some of the grit from flying around. Its done about 400 miles since. It is by far the fastest accelerating bike I have ever ridden. including all my race ones! The gearing is probably for a slower track like Oulton Park and it is not for the faint hearted so. get used to wheelies!These days track-day bikes have to meet stringent noise limits and this one seems pretty reasonable although it sings like it should when you give it some wellie. There are even some noise test 'Pass' stickers on the front of the fairing. Don't expect a concours. show-room bike as it certainly isn't with plenty of scratches. bumps and bruises from track use. The fairing. mudguards. seat etc are not the originals. Lights. indicators etc have been removed to comply with Track requirements and I don't have them. There is a horn however. The paint job & stickers look very reasonable to my eye though.  If you are not sure come and have a look as viewing is highly recommended. The bike is in North Shropshire. The engine is a prompt starter and sounds very sweet.  Please study the pictures carefully as they form part of the description. I have added a picture showing the mileometer which now reads 21. 00 Kilometres (about 12. 00). slightly higher than shown on the photo as I have used the bike. I started to fit indicators. front and rear. but have not been able to utilise the existing wiring satisfactorily so they are not working. I also fitted 2 mini LED front lights which stand out quite nicely. If the winning bidder doesn't want them on I will take all these lights off. I believe you are not allowed lights (or visible speedo) on a track bike. I have reduced the reserve so all you bidders are almost there! Thank you.
