honda tlr 200 twinshock trials potential

Auction for a Honda TLR 200 . I imported 2 of these bikes from California some 3 years ago because the guy I bought them from happened to have two and it was a better shipping deal getting 2 to the UK. One had 2700 miles on it and the other 1300 miles. I sold one immediately. because I only wanted this one to convert to a twin shock trials. this one being the low mileage and best condition on the two. although to be honest they were both really great.

I've never been to California. but I do know that unlike the East coast and the mid west they don't have a great need to lay salt on the roads like we do here in Britain. so consequently the frame and engine casings are spot on and pretty much still look like the bike has rolled out of the shop.

It starts and runs beautifully. with all gears engaging as they should. I have mixed feelings of course but I don't have the time to commence. let alone complete. the project I was hoping for. so it's going to have to go to the highest bidder.

I can help out with transportation a bit . say within 40 miles from my home. but essentially this is a collection only. I cannot post. I could assist with a courier. I have accommodated this with another buyer of a large item once before. but I'd expect the winner to arrange the pick-up. etc.

I have the shipping documentation and the import documentation showing that VAT and customs duty was paid. so there is no restriction on applying for a V5 if that is what you wish to do. I will of course give this to any winner. I also have the Pink slip from the original owner in California. the winner can have this piece of providence too.

I will consider reasonable offers of course and will answer any questions. You can of course come and take a look at the bike. Please study the pictures before placing a bid. if your unsure. don't bid. If you want me to send you the actual high resolution pictures. contact me and I'll e-mail them to you.
