Honda CBR 2011 not HPI clear

Hi everyone who is interested in this CBR 125 & here is a story about it. In 2013 I bought this vehicle from a family who lived in Luton. I didn't suspect there could be anything wrong with this bike and people seemed to be alright. so I became third owner of the vehicle. All of this time it served me very well and it started first time every time. however when I passed my A lisence I bought a bigger bike and was looking to sell this one. Week later after I sold it. buyer contacted me telling that bike wasn't HPI clear I didn't even quit know what that is? So he explained that on numper plate report it says that vehicle was stollen in 2012 then police found it and recovered it. however now this is where it gets fuzzy it's either that when person got the bike back he didn't informed the insurance company and just got the compansation from them and then sold the bike to another person (family I bought it from). or it could be that insurance company just forgot to take it of their record. So when I got the bike back I called police and asked what should I do about it and all they could say is that they can't help me with that I should try to contact the insurance company that insured the bike at that time. however there is just no way I can find out who are they and so I just decided to sell it as is. Bad points about the bike:Not all insurance companies will insure it. what I know for sure that MCE will as they insured me a year ago and said nothing.
