1999 HONDA VFR800F RED Anniversary Model

For sale my lovely Honda VFR 800 Fi Anniversary Model. Pre-Vtec. 24. 10 miles. I've owned this bike for 3 years and it has been cossetted in my garage and well maintained. It has been used for two Summer tours and has never let me down. I have just taxed and MOT'd the bike and put on new Pirelli  Corsa tyres less than 200 miles ago. Stupidly I then visited a dealer and rashly placed a deposit on a BMW! The bike is not immaculate but is in great condition for the age and mileage. not concourse but not far off. The bike has had sensible additions such as heated grips. Scott oiler and crash bungs. The bike is also fitted with Givi topbox and pannier racks. THE TOP BOX AND PANNIERS ARE AVAILABLE AT ADDITIONAL COST TO BE NEGOTIATED. The pictures do not do the bike justice because it is a rainy day but they do give an overall impression of the bike. On the MOT on 22nd August there were two advisories:Front roller brake test indicates slight fluctuations of brake effort. I subsequently had the brakes checked over by my bike mechanic and he said there was nothing to worry about. the discs look fine and the pads are about half worn. Front tyre close to the legal limit.   I HAD BOTH TYRES CHANGED. There is plenty of history with the bike. Last oil and filter change this Spring. Chain and sprockets in good order (Scott oiler). The bike rides great without any vices. I have the seat hump. I also have a Bagalux tank cover and a generic tankbag available by separate negotiation. The tool kit and is complete and there is an optimate charging socket fitted. The eagle eyed may have spotted a Garmin Sat Nav bracket. this will be removed to go on my new bike. This is a genuine bike which has many. many more miles to travel. I'm located near Whitby in North Yorkshire. Collection only. No test rides unless you can demonstrate insurance and can put £2200 in my hand.
