Honda SL350 Motosport SL 350 Survivor

Up for auction is a 9/70 Honda SL350.  This bike was forgotten and I came into possession of the bike recently and worked to get the bike running and electrical working again.  I'm not a Honda expert. I just know a bit about bikes.  My deal is keep old forgotten Enduros from being parted out. so that was my goal here. The engine starts usually first kick. is quiet and sounds like it should.  Up-shifts through all five gears cleanly. downshifts are a little notchy but not a problem.  Clutch action is light and it does not slip at all.  Inspected the front brakes and it looks like the previous owner replaced them right before parking the bike.  Rear brakes inspected and look fine. no rust inside either brake drum.  Installed a new battery and worked through replacing the instrument lights and neutral light. they all work.  Headlight works high and low beam.  Brake light works off foot pedal only and parking light works.  Charging system charges battery to 14+V engine running.  Bike rides really good. engine revs out cleanly with no issues. has plenty of power like a 350 Honda twin should.  Was originally a blue color (can be seen under tank). but someone mistakenly thought it would look better the color it was painted. and painstaking effort to pinstripe it (looks TERRIBLE to me).  New to the bike:New OEM cut ignition key. also works steering lock. New OEM fuel valve distributor disc. New fuel lines. New battery. New rear tube. Cleaned:Carburetors completely gone through. Fuel valve completely gone through. Being that this bike sat for quite awhile. time unknown. it's in rough shape and there are some issues.  The bad:Rear frame hoop right side cracked. Seat pan cracked laterally (see photo). Missing both plastic side covers. Cable housing covers in front sun baked. cracking. Front brake light switch doesn't work. Seat cover hard. foam crumbly. splits on top and hole left side. Rear tire worn out. front is ok but flat spotted. Speedometer sticks. odometer however works fine as does tachometer. Mufflers I do not believe to be for this particular year model. mount studs do not line up to brackets that were on bike and they don't fit flush as they should (they were not on the bike when I got it. them came with it though).  One mount stud on right muffler broken off. Air filters missing. housings are there. boots from housing to carbs are dry and splitting. It's been re-painted. goofy pinstriping. Tank is bashed in right side. however is SPOTLESS inside. no rust. Tool box cover missing. Kickstand is wrong (has been extended) and kickstand spring is wrong. BILL OF SALE ONLY.  Cal plate on bike does not go with it. THE GOOD:Has the original alloy front and rear fenders. It's nearly all there. It runs great. so if you're going to restore it. you have a great base. It can be ridden every day as a beater classic with a set of new tires and air filter foam elements installed.
