Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm 2002

I have for sale my 2002 Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm. It's standard and in decent condition for its age. having covered 24k miles. Being a late model. it benefits from the model upgrades including a larger tank. a digital dash and the Honda HISS immobiliser.  It has a new MOT. 6 months road tax and service history.  Oil and filter were recently changed (Hi-Flo filter and Motul 5100 10w/40 oil)Brake and clutch fluids flushed and replaced with DOT4New front brake pads includedNew set of tapered head bearings includedBridgestone Battlax BT021's DID gold chain and sprocketsFew points to note. There is a very small pin head ding on the right hand side of the tank (sometimes visible in sunlight). a paint chip on the lower right hand fairing along with a slight ripple on a small area of paint on the lower fairing. I'm unsure as to how. perhaps it was left next to a heat gun by a previous owner or mechanic. The bike is used to commute daily in all weather and as a result some parts of the engine casings. subframe and bolts are showing signs of corrosion as are the header pipes and rear shock. apparently not uncommon on these models. Overall however. the bodywork and paint are in good condition. The bike received an advisory in the MOT as the tester felt the head bearings were a little notchy. I've included a new packaged set with the bike along with a set of EBC front brake pads but these will need installing. The carbs will also need balancing at some point too. . I've owned the bike roughly 18 months. it's HPI clear and has 3 former keepers.  A new bike purchase forces the sale so I'm not looking for any px. Also please note. after the 1st October 2014 I'll be unable to include the tax with the bike. Mileage may go up slightly as still in use. Please contact me if you have any questions.
