For sale is my Honda SP1 which has covered 28000 miles I have owned it for a little over 8 years and it will be sad to see it go yet it just hasn?ˆ™t been used in the past three years and I don?ˆ™t have the want to ride bikes anymore. If you are looking at this bike you should know exactly what they are and I?ˆ™m sure you are aware that this is fast becoming a classic and beginning to appreciate. The price reflects the condition and is more then a fair price to be starting with. Please do not offer me under the asking price or suggest any part exchanges. The good bits first all fairings are in excellent original condition . plenty of tread is left on the bridgestone tyres. Have added heated grips and harris screen frame added with an Ohlins steering damper which is a must on a bike like this. The bike has some documented history with myself and I have had the expensive and important valve cleareance done at 18654 miles. These bikes must have this service done for happy motoring. At the same time as this service all brake pads were replaced too. The chain has plenty of life in it and has only done 2000 miles I have a spare brand new chain and will put this in with the sale. I also have the original cans for the bike the left hand can is marked from brushing against the wall. Now for the bad bits due to the bike sitting along time there seems to be an issue with the cooling system the bike over heats in traffic but cools once on the move I have replaced the fans and have bought a replacement thermostat which I have not changed yet. I don?ˆ™t have time to investigate further. The bike also needs an MOT and Tax but I?ˆ™m sure once the cooling is sorted it will sail through. Only serious buyers. This bike is not road legal at the moment so you will need to arrange for collection. The bike will not leave the drive way unless full cash amount is placed in my hands no test pilots!
