Description

Hello and thanks for looking at my auction for this fantastic Honda Fireblade She is a CBR900RR on a 1996 N Plate. She is the 918cc version those of you into your blades will know if that is good or bad. I know that she is a total beast to ride. very fast. light handling and in my view. lovely to look at. She is resplendent in ?ˆ?Smokin Joe?ˆ? Race rep colours. These were applied from new she came out ofthe showroom looking like she does. The V5 shows the colour as Purple/Yellow and the HPI check shows no issues and no colour changes! The paint work is thick original and not your cheaper aftermarket sticker version. She stands in pretty original specification that is apart from the following. Carbon fibre hugger. carbon fibre (looking)fairing infill?ˆ™s either side of the handlebars. Renthal grips. themed bar end weightsand carbon effect heel guards. Perhaps the most radical change is the very short ?ˆ?Stubby?ˆ? exhaust end can. This is ?ˆ?quite?ˆ? loud and offers a repeat on the overrun. This is not to my tastes but it may float your boat. It has had a 17 inch (VFR) front wheel replacement and both front and rear wheels have been newly powder coated in Black Gloss. Now originally one wheel should be yellow and the other purple and I was in the process of returning these to the bike over the winter I have already got a 16inch wheel and a rear is due shortly to be painted up in the appropriate yellowand purple colours. Sadly I will not get around to doing this. I will be sellingthese wheels separately Honestly I have just acquired this bike but myeagerness to get a Fireblade resulted me buying a second chance offer (As You Do) Fireblade in Urban Street Tiger colours (something I have wanted since this bike wasannounced) so this one has to go as I will keep the Tiger version (arriving shortly) This bike has close to 29K (mileage is supportedby quite a few old MOTs) on the clocks has 12 months MOT but no tax. sadly youhave to obtain that yourself these days. I am still using this bike from timeto time so the mileage could increase slightly It will need a new back tyre within maybe 3 or 4thousand miles but it is fine at the moment. I also think the chain will need replacing at the same time As I said it is a 17 year old bike so is not newand has some wear and tear most noticeable on the fork bottoms and on the rear swing arm where a badly adjusted end can has rubbed. There are a few stone chips in the paint had should I have kept it would have been sorted. They are not hideous but they are worth noting here. The swing are has some wear marks where a previous poorly adjusted exhaust can has rubbed against the swing arm. It unsightly for the purist and I would change it (I fancied a black powercoated one). As I said I have just bought this bike so the V5 is with the DVLA at the moment but it will be in my name and address shortly. If the bike sells before it arrives then I will sort it out with the new owner. Nothing much more to say I am disappointed to be offering her for sale but as I but when have waited a long long time to get adecent Urban Tiger then its worth keeping and letting this lovely bike go If I haven?ˆ™t covered something you need an answerfor email me. OK to the final things. You bid. you win. and youbuy. No tyre kicking or price negotiations you pay the amount of the winningbid. As always I have tried to describe the bike as honestly as I can. Youshould note I am not an expert and could well have missed something. Please. PLEASE email any questions I am happyto answer any enquiry if I can that is. If you want to view please email and we can sort something out. I would recommend this to fully appreciate this bike. If you want other pictures send me an email and I will get them to you. Bidders with less than 10 feedbacks should contactme first before bidding. sorry about this but there are a few timewasters thatspoil it for everyone these days. You can ride this bike away if you tax and insureit. £50 deposit (non refundable if you decide not toturn up) the rest in cash would be appreciated. Thanks and good luck. I do havethis listed on another auction site so of course reserve the right to withdrawit should I need to. Thanks for reading. Good Luck

Just a little update. firstly thank you to all those who have bid I appreciate your interest and commitment in bidding. I have a lot of the usual questions but know one has quite tempted me enough as yet. Note I have this bike listed elsewhere. Those of you with sharp eyes will have noticed the stubby type of clutch and front brake levers which I failed  to mention in my original description so those who have missed them take a look at the pictures. They are black with anodised fittings. I have recently purchased a replacement swing arm that I was intending to swap with the slightly below par one that is currently fitted. The replacement has yet to arrive so I am not sure how good it is but it should be better then of one fitted. I was going to have this replacement powder coated black but I will not get this done quick. If the bike reaches the price I expect (Hope for!!!) I will give this to the winner all be it in its current (un-powder coated) finish.
