Honda XL 600

Here for sale is my Honda XL 600 which I have owned and ridden for 7 years.

Appreciating classic bike.

Originally an Italian import. nbsp;first registered in UK  in 2004. Bike is on a 'B' Plate. 1985.

In unrestored but clean condition with the wear you would expect from a 29 year old bike rip on seat cover which has remained the same since I bought the bike. side panel re painted matt.

All original including exhaust. apart from left hand side panel and plastic scoops which used to fit under tank.

Replaced complete engine 4 years ago as previous had top end failure. current engine has had new timing chain and overhaul and runs sweetly with no knocks. rattles or smoke. Starts easily off the electric start. also has kickstart.

I used the bike for fun and also to do trail orienteering events in the Spanish Pyrenees.

MOT until March 2015. on a SORN at the moment because I have bought an XTZ Tenere with longer range fuel capacity.

V5 in my name.

Recent new chain. Renthal Bars. Good Avon road tyres fitted.
