Hi Fellows !For sale is HONDA XR400R after restoration with lots of extras in excellent condition . I am owner of this bike around 4 years . I really love this truly Enduro Bike but unhappily I am forced to sell it . I had half year ago wrist injury which I feel now during off-road riding. additionally my Girl force me to ride together. nbsp;so now. its hard to say but I am looking for to buy XT660Z . hat?s why I decided to sell my beloved and built with passion bike . About the bike ?¦. Around 1. 5 Year ago after restoration mileage of the bike was around 17 120 km ( 10 700 miles ). The speedometer is scaled in [ km ] with decal on the top in [ miles ] . Current mileage on the clock is in 18 837 km ( 11 773 miles ) but like you can read in description below and see on the pictures whole motorbike was taken apart and checked carefully during restoration. Lots of parts was replaced with new quality parts . additionally lots of parts was sandblasted and repainted Epoxy Primer + Colour paint ( Engine . Wheels . Forks . Frame etc ). So then. despite that the bike was rebuilt nearly 1. 5 year ago . even now Tyres . Brake Pads . Sprockets . Bearings . eals are still in really good condition and definitely it's not a motorbike with an average condition and standard equipment and with all respect. please don't make me an offer based on Parkers Guide with amount of 1800 pounds ! I do apologize in advance but I will not respond on offers like that . sorry for honesty ;)Restoration Process ( done 1. 5 year ago )Engine Condition :All Bearings and Crankshaft are still original and in perfect condition . All Seals are very good as well . nbsp;but to be on 100% sure I decided replace 2 Seals in Engine Case (Final Drive and Gear Change Shaft) and 4 Valve Seals in Cylinder Head . Valves and Seats was really good . I just lapped them by fine grinding paste. Additionally I installed new Camshaft - HOT CAM Stage 2 . Cylinder and Piston was really good . but to get better bottom torque and overall power I decided rebore Cylinder to 420ccm and installed bigger Wossner piston with higher compression ratio 11:1 . Clutch is in very good condition . I just decided install new Steel Plates and slightly stiffer Clutch Springs . Gearbox works very good . after inspection I Installed new Thrust Washers to remove Shaft loose . I replaced Cham Chain Tensioner ( original and new) because my one didn?t work properly . All Engine ( Cases . Cylinder . Head and Covers ) was sandblasted and repainted . To be Honest this Engine looks like New !!!Fork Modification :Like you can see on the pictures I installed Upside Down Front Fork taken from Honda CR 250. It was not easy modification and taken lots of time and some money to fabricate new Steering Stem . Wheel Spindle and some other parts . Finally I am happy with this mod because this forks works better for me than original one and still I have Speedometer . Front Headlight and Steering Lock . Front Suspension was completely taken apart . nbsp;cleaned and checked every single parts . I replaced Forks Seals and Oil ( original 10W Honda fork oil ) . Front fork have no leaking and works very good . Other Modification :White Bros Silencer : Engine works really good with this silencer . motorbike looks better and ?¦its more quiet than original exhaust what is important for me during riding in the Forest . No problems with MOT as well . EASTON Handlebar EXP W10266 : taller and deeper bend for improving standing position. Extended Clutch lever ( on the Crankcase Cover ). it's much easier operate a clutch !!! ;)If you are riding in tight. technical conditions you will really appreciate this modification . LED flexible Turn indicators : Looks better than original one ! ;) 12V Sat-Nav Socket : No problem with charging my Smartphone or TomTom Go740Live. Current Year additional improvementHigh Output Stator 200 W + Halogen Headlamp . Do you like Night Riding ? I ?¦. love riding until late night . nbsp;and now I can say that above mode is a huge improvement versus original Headlamp and Stator ![ About LED indicators : to be honest original one are more visible . I installed LED one with original Stator to save energy for Sat-Nav Socket . nbsp; but now with High Output Stator 200 W I have enough power for additional electrical equipment and now for safety reason I think that original one are better ;( ] Mikuni Carb BST-40 ?¦. The best what you can do for your bike !Really ?¦forget mate about Mikuni TM36 Pumper Carb !!! I had got one and I can say that it?s more expensive . t?s hard to fire up hot engine . especially when you fall over the bike . With BST40 is much easier to fire up cold or hot engine . OK . ok . acceleration/respond was better with TM36 vs Original and BST40 Carb but . overall . after summary all benefits Mikuni BST40 I can recommend for everyone !-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
