Honda CB400n Cafe RacerSuperdream with a difference! No ReserveHello and welcome to the auction of my Superdream. As can be seen it is not a normal one! It was made about 6 years ago but not been used the old boy I had it from in June and I bought it as something to fiddle with over the Winter and then do the Thundersprint on it next year. I haven't really done much it yet however and the Thundersprint is cancelled. The push that has made me decide to sell it is the fact that I have just bought a real 60's cafe racer in the form of an Enfield Continental GT. I don't need two cafe racers so this one can go. As stated it does start and run but the carbs need cleaning out as the left hand float bowl leaks and it's not a fan of ticking over without the choke. I have ridden it and down the street and it rides OK. Neutral is tricky to find with the engine running though. The clutch wasn't well adjusted when I got it as the cable had been moved and it was just loosely put on. I think the neutral issue is a result of partly this and the gear lever being reversed. I have had many superdreams and never had a problem with the box so I'm fairly sure it's a set up thing. As can be seen in the pics it's a cool looking little bike but please note that . as always. it does look better in the pics than real life. The paint is a rattle can job and not a professional one. The wheels and forks are from a CB350 apparently. If you look carefully at the dash you spot the deliberate mistake - I've never had an air cooled Superdream with a temperature gauge before! I guess it was just put there to fill the hole in the yokes. I have a van and could possibly deliver the bike within around 75 miles of Lancaster (no you can't ride it home as it is - no MOT and leaky carb!). If delivery is required I will want 75p mile (one way according to google maps) to cover my fuel. wear and tear on the van and my time. This will have to paid into my PayPal account before I leave the house. As for the price of the bike itself - it's cash on collection only please. No PayPal as the fees are too high. There you go then - with a bit of work this could be a great and unique bike. Please contact me for viewing. it is recommended. The bike is in Lancaster. about ten minutes from junction 34 M6.
