Honda CB750 cafe racer project

Imminent redundancy forces sale of my cafe racer project. I bought the bike about 6 months ago with every intention of stripping and rebuilding to my favorite style of bike. an archetypal cafe racer. Unfortunately the fates have conspired and I am about to lose my job as of the end of this month so needs must!Not much to say about the bike. it's a 1982 FB. mileage unknown. I was told it did start and run before the previous owner stripped it. I've pushed it in 4th with the plugs out and it doesn't make any nasty noises.  I was also told it only had 18k on the clock. but as I don't have the clocks I can't verify that! I was told it was 95% complete. it's not. apart from missing the aforementioned clocks the basic wiring is there but it will need a lot doing. the exhaust has been butchered but I do have a spare from an earlier 750 which although rusty will fit. I also have a bag of odds and sods including tank badges. another set of rear shock. indicators and general 'stuff'. I don't have a V5. but the frame and engine numbers match and I have a nice letter from Honda GB which confirms year of manufacture so there will be no issues getting an age related plate. I ran the frame number through an HPI check and got nothing untoward back.  So there you have it. a solid. 30-odd year old Honda which has lots of potential.
