2001 HONDA ST1100A ONLY 36647mls 12m MOT REALLY NICE BIKE ABS FAULT

2001/Y Honda ST1100 Pan-European.

This bike has an ABS fault. The ABS warning light is on and the ABS does not work. It may be as simple as a bad earth or it could be the ABS unit. I don't know but it's a rare thing that the ABS on a Pan goes wrong. That said. the brakes work perfectly and it sailed through the MOT as it is with an advisory (002 ABS lamp on). You can get it fixed. fix it yourself or you can disable it altogether.

As you can see from the pictures this is a really nice looking Pan. The guy that did the MOT commented on it saying that if he was going to buy one. he'd buy this one and that high prase indeed coming from him! 

As you would expect from a Honda. it starts on the button and rides faultlessly (ABS aside). The tyres have heaps of tread. the pain on the wheels isn't flaky. the exhaust pipe has been changed for a stainless one and the swinging arm isn't corroded. The paint is shiny and it has obviously been garaged and used for leisure and not as a commute tool. There's a few scratches on here and there but minor and in keeping with the low mileage. The HPI shows that it has had a personal number plate. always a good sign I think. It shows it's been owned by someone with more money that sense!

This Pan is going to make someone who wants to either fix or remove the ABS a very proud owner.
