Honda TLR200 TLR 200 Trials Trail Green Lane

Honda TLR 200 I have owned this bike for about 5 years and probably only ridden it a dozen times. The last time was a couple of weeks ago. the last two photos were taken as I unloaded it from the van. I rode a 40 section Trial competition with out any problems. The bike was imported from Japan in 2000 and was registered with an age related plate I think it is an 86 . odel. (will I have the full lighting kit as shown in the photo. I do have a Reg plate JKM 5**Y  but it is cracked and will be supplied with the bike. I have the V5 in my name but the bike has not been on the road since I have owned  it or for a number of years before that. It has quite a few marks and scratches as would be expected from an off road bike of this age. Since I have owned it I have fitted a new clutch. cam chain and cam chain tensioner blade.  I have moved the foot pegs down and back about 25mm and extended the original pegs by over welding steel loops. This has made the riding position much better than original in my opinion. My intention was to develop this in to a more serious trials bike but I don't really get the time to work on it. This bike could be ridden as it is but would benefit from new Tyres. the existing Pirellis are old and hard. If I was going to keep it I would lower the gearing with a slightly larger rear sprocket and get a new chain too. Brakes are surprisingly good and and I have replaced both front and rear with Sammy Miller grooved shoes. I replaced all cables when I got the bike. The Seat was recovered by me as the old cover had rotted. The only problem I have had with the bike is some times its hard to start from cold. but once started will start with one kick most of the time. I put a new coil on a few weeks ago and it has started ok since then. If you have ny questions please ask.
