Honda Cbr 600FY Ultima Light only 17000 miles

This auction is for my Honda CBR 600 FY Ultima Light. It's on a 2000 X reg plate and has 17400 miles on the clock. This was the last of the carburettor CBR600 before Honda introduced fuel injection. It also benefited from the aluminum frame which made it lighter and improved the handling.  Mechanically it's been well looked after. During my ownership I have stripped and cleaned the carbs. Change the oil filter and oil. Cleaned and gapped the spark plugs and cleaned the air filter. The engine starts on the button and idle's very smoothly once warm. The tyres are all good and make the bike handle superbly.  This is an ideal first big bike if you have just passed your test. I've bought it at the beginning of the years to do some touring and it's been very reliable.  It's a very quick bike. The body work is all original Honda panels (no Chinese after market fairings here). The rest of the bike is standard except for  the front screen. CBR bar ends and a road legal scorpion end can with removable baffles. There are some light marks to the paint on the tank but this is a 20 year old machine. She passed the MOT on the 8th of May 2014. unfortunately no tax because the government has changed the law. The bike is fitted with an Acumen Cat 1 alarm and immobiliser which has 2 remotes. There are also 3 Hiss keys with the bike so no worries about losing your keys. I'm selling the bike because I won't to upgrade to a bigger bike. Viewing is welcome.
