Honda 1978 CB750K Cafe Racer Project-Much Done Already-Finish To Your Taste

1978 Honda CB750K  "750 Four"Last year model of the coveted SOHC EngineThis motorcycle is a project in progress.   I have a motorcycle store. and I just don't have the time to finish all the projects I started. First. the bike has been sitting for a while since it last started. so it's going to need the carbs cleaned and a battery installed.   I have a battery I purchased new last year. it will come with the bike. not sure if it will take a charge since it's been sitting in the box for a year.   It is a sealed AGM battery.   The bike started about a year ago. then got pushed off in the back and forgotten about.   I did a quick compression test on the two outside plugs. didn't take the tank off and check #2 or #3.   #1 is 85psi. #4 is 150psi.   Likely needs the valves adjusted.   The fuel tank is off an earlier model. 76'ish. with hand hammered knee cutouts. and rubber knee pads installed.   Also has an aircraft style gas cap installed.   The rear frame has been modified and had a plate welded to accept a standard style cafe racer bum stop seat assembly.   There is NO SEAT currently.   Has New UNI Pod filters. New Avon Venom Tires. New Clubman Handlebars. New Progrip Grips. New Aluminum Bar End Mirrors. New Reflector Cafe Headlight and Ears. New LED Front and Rear Small Stalk Turnsignals. New Side Mount Cafe Taillight and License Plate Holder.   The wiring is complete. needs to be cleaned up double checked.   The engine is very clean. case covers are polished nicely. and it's all stock except for the pods and the 4 into 2 exhaust.   They were turndowns. cut off to make them straight.   Front Master Cylinder is stock. currently not working. no fluid in it.   It has been cleaned up. but needs rebuilt or replaced with a more modern master.   Front Fender is in place and in pretty good shape. and the side covers have been repaired with fiberglass. so they are good to go.   This bike is a good base for you to build your own unique cafe bike. has a lot of new parts already. and won't take too much effort to finish it off.   This bike has been mostly sitting in the back of my shop for about 6 years.   There is no guarantee or warranty.   It's an old bike that needs work-know what you are getting into. I cannot ship or crate this bike.   I would prefer you come pick it up at the store.   If you want to get a door to door shipper. that's up to you.   We will not prep the bike for shipping.   HaulBikes has picked up from us before. they are a good shipping company for motorcycles.
