This lovely old 1972 (Tax free) Honda CB450K5 Super Sport has recently been imported from North America where it has spent all its life ?ˆ“ the air is thin and the climate is far kinder to machinery than ours. This and the fact it's only showing 15721 miles and has been in dry storage for the last umpteen years have helped maintain its boyish good looks. PLEASE CHECKOUT THE PICTURES. As you can see this bike is very nearly complete missing just the Mirrors. Fork Gaitors & tank badges. The bike has obviously stood a while so the battery is flat. BUT NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS. The bike is every bit as nice as it looks here. The wheels are straight with nice clean chrome rims. good hubs & brake plate. disc. caliper. working master cylinder & even hve good tyres fitted. Forks & yokes look straight with good chrome. Mudguards are both solid ?ˆ“ front isvery tidy but rear is pushed forwards. Headlight & hangers are very tidy. Instruments & switches look ok. Fuel tank & side panels are in great condition and tank is clean inside. Carburetors are free sliding off the twist grip. Exhausts are original & solid. Seat base is in very good condition throughout. The engine is cosmetically very clean. it turns over nicely off the kick starter ?ˆ“ sounds/feels great & has compression ?ˆ“ When we hooked it up to a good battery & fed it a few squirts of ether it starts & runs but the carbs do need cleaning. REGISTRATION

1. You need to get the bike MOT?ˆ™d.

2. You need to prove the year of manufacture. The American Title will do this.

3. You need to have valid insurance on the bike. You can insure it on the chassis number.

4. Send all this paper work to the DVLA. who will charge you £55 for the 1st registration & the current fee for the road tax.

5. The DVLA will send you your age related registration number.
