CBX750FE in very good functional and cosmetic condition. Not much opportunity to use it now. so has to relinquish its place in the shed. Starts easily and reliablyRuns and rides beautifully - sprightly. nbsp;fairly agile for its bulk (~218 kg). smooth. great gearchange and sounds lovely on its Neta 4 into 1 systemNo nasty alternator chain-related noises (a known issue with some RC17s). and hydraulic tappets. so no valve clearance issuesFront and rear air suspension gives a nice compliant ride and retains pressure seemingly indefinitelyFuel gauge (oh yes!) and Voltmeter both workChain and sprockets goodAverages about 43 mpg in mixed town and A road useTaxed to end of December. though I don't suppose that counts for much any more. A few minor niggles:The speedo takes a hundred yards or so to respond when the bike's been parked overnight. then works fine for the rest of the day - I assume contamination on the bearings - bought a used spare (for £7!) which I'll throw inThe rear remote damping adjuster cable is seized - I haven't got round to replacing itThe front right caliper squeals on brake release. although both pistons and the pins move as they should - I've given it a good ignoringThe paint isn't perfect. with some blemishes and a couple of small (sub 1") cracks in panelsThe previous owner removed the centre stand - I use an Abba stand on the swingarm pivotsOtherwise it's ready to enjoy.
