1971 Honda SL70 SL 70 AHRMA Vintage Enduro Minibike Minicycle XR75 XL70

 Available for Ebay sale is this 1971 Honda SL70. An older restoration. the bike looks and runs great. The carburetor and fuel valve have recently been cleaned and adjusted. and although there are some flaws. this little SL70 shows very nicely and has great potential to become a spectacular example of a most sought after little Honda. Apologies include. missing battery. I do not know if the lights and horn work. both side covers are very brittle and cracked. some pieces are missing on the edges. ignition side engine cover has a small crack; however there is no missing aluminum. key switch but on/off switch on throttle housing does not. Some spokes and hubs have been rattle can spray painted silver. Front fender bracket. side covers. headlight bucket. and rear fender have been resprayed. they look very good and appear to have been clear coated. they look better than an average spray can paint job. and are perfectly acceptable for a rider. Engine paint is not the best and could use a proper respray. seat cover has some cracks in the top seam at the rear of the seat. There are holes in grips at the ends. the cables are dry and faded brown. tires need replacing. etc. etc. etc. I don't want to hide anything. all of the short comings are over shadowed by the fact that this is a nice complete bike that runs very well. The gas tank and front fender are the original paint. the tank is clean inside and appears to have been coated at some point. Most items that it needs are readily available. and very nice reproduction items are moderately priced.
