1989 Honda Hawk GT NT650 With Many Upgrades, Low Miles

Please read the entire listing.  I tried to be as detailed as possible and it should answer most if not all questions you have. I was going to sell this in the spring but have my eye on another toy . . . Clean title. 13. 39 miles and climbing. Stock where it counts but with tasteful performance and cosmetic mods. some done by the prior owner. some done by me. Brakes: Front brake has the Lenac upgrade with a 6 piston Tokico caliper. larger rotor. and stainless brake line. Much more powerful than the stock brakes. Negates the need to do a dual disc conversion. $400. Suspension: Front -- CBR600F1 internals and adjustable top caps were installed. I also have the CBR fork lowers if you want to ever do a front wheel swap. $150 for a used CBR fork. Rear: Penske shock from JD Hord. with adjustable ride height. $900. Turnsignals: brackets were made and aftermarket signals were installed in place of the giant stock signals (which are included as well). Materials cost $40. Corbin "tall" saddle. The stock Hawk has a pretty low seat height and many riders find it cramped in the leg room area. The tall saddle adds a couple of inches. $350. Fenderectomy performed. Free!Chain roller installed (needed when increasing ride height on the Penske). $65. Adjustable footpegs installed. Currently in the lowest position but can be adjusted 360 degrees. $45. NEW cush drive rubbers installed (these protect the drivetrain and make shifting smoother). $45. NEW Bridgestone S20 tires installed. $300. Frame sliders installed (provides protection to the engine cases. frame and tank if you ever drop the bike). $60. Napolean style bar end mirrors (stock mirrors are included). $40. Aftermarket levers installed (stock levers are included). $40. SV650 bikini fairing. $50. Oil and filter will be changed before sale. Engine and exhaust are completely stock. Battery is good and has always been kept on a battery tender by me. Some cosmetic scuffs and dings here and there consistent with a 25 year old used bike. Some of the clear coat on the engine cases is getting a little tired. The clearcoat on the lower fork legs was getting tarnished so I wet sanded and polished. and applied several coats of wax to protect them. The seat cowling was cracked on one side when I got the bike and I repaired it with fiberglass cloth and ABS cement on the back side. Rock solid now. with just a hairline crack visible. Has been a great and dead reliable bike. and a fun project. but ready to move on to the next one. Tank is good. carbs are fine. starts. runs and stops with NO problems. Comes with 2 keys. Needs NOTHING. Everything that needed to be updated or serviced has been. GPS and RAM mount are NOT included.
