Honda CB500 Roadster/commuter 2000 W plate Blue

Hi welcome to this auction of my Honda CB500. I have owned this bike since 17/3/2003 and am only the second owner.

I originally purchased it for my wife to learn on and use. Over the years it has had little use only occasionally for commuting and the odd pleasure ride. It has always been garaged during my ownership.  My son also used it to pass his test on and for the last year or so has been stood in the garage not used.

Earlier this year my son decided to get it back on the road. It needed a new battery and front tire (Bridgestone BT45) and fork seals. The rear tyre also a BT45 is also as new having been replaced when last in use.  He has now bought a Kawasaki 300 and so the CB500 is redundant again and now needs to go.

The bike is generally in good condition for the age and mileage which is low at 16448 but there are some marks to the exhaust and body work including where a rack was fitted and to the lacquer on the engine and fork legs etc. consummate with age and mileage. nbsp;it is after all nearly 15 years old. I have the rack and a Givi Monokey top box that came with the bike when I bought it but not the fixings. The rack and box will come with the bike if required.

During my ownership it has always been reliable.

I don't have any history for the bike. somehow I've lost it. so unless it comes to light it will be sold without any.    

It is fitted with an immobiliser.
