1973 Honda CB750 K SOHC CB 750 Project Bike or Parts LANSING MICHIGAN

I?ˆ™ve only owned this bike a bit over 3 years and initially put a couple hundred miles on it.   After those miles. it developed an engine problem where the oil pressure drops as the bike warms up. I installed a pressure gauge and when the bike was started cold the PSI would be over 60. After a few minutes. it would drop down to around 10 and the oil warning light would come on (at idle).   This was happening in the driveway- I never drove it or let it run when the oil light was on.   If throttle was increased. the pressure would go up. There was not any engine knocking or odd noises that made me think something major was going on inside. Obviously this is a big issue though that will likely require you to tear the motor apart or put in a different one.   Prior to this issue. it was running great.   The odometer reads 60. 80. but when I bought it I was told that?ˆ™s not accurate- the motors had been swapped at some point.   The engine number in it now is CB750E-2303482.   As for the rest of the bike. it has new (well. from 2011) Bridgestone tires on. the seat doesn?ˆ™t have any tears. the exhaust has some scratches & dents. but no holes.   The fuel tank looks clean inside. When I received the bike. I put on a new chain. spark plugs. oil/filter. mirrors. grips and replaced the engine screws with hex bolts.   The battery is not holding a charge anymore so I haven?ˆ™t started it since last Fall.   I don?ˆ™t believe there?ˆ™s a tool kit or manual under the seat.   My plan was to fix this up and get it back running like it should. but as you know. plans change.   It?ˆ™ll just be sitting in the garage collecting dust. so I?ˆ™m hoping someone else would enjoy taking it on as a winter project or use it as parts if you already have a CB.   I have a clear Michigan title for it.
