1980 Honda CB 650C

 A real motorcycle "time-capsule". this 1980 Honda 650Custom runs great and still looks very good. An added bonus is that except for a tank-repaint and 4 into 2 exhaust. it is bone stock and original. with only 13k + miles. The year 1980 was a transition year for the big Honda CBs. a bridge in styling between the 70s Superbikes and the lower-slung and more modern styling of later years. With it's more upright appearance. early Mag wheels and distinctive Honda inline-four sound. it is a definite head turner. At the same time. subtle factory updates like the electronic ignition make it reliable enough for a daily rider. Engine starts easily and pulls smoothly through all 5 gears. and everything works. including all lights and signals.  Some recent servicing includes:

Carbs cleaned. rebuilt and re-jetted for maximum performance /oil and filter change / new plugs / new battery/ brakes checked and adjusted / a few new bulbs / gas tank cleaned. coated and sealed/ chain lubed and adjusted and more. Tires are good and there is no major rust or pitting - the chrome still shines nicely. Included is a detachable luggage rack (not shown) 

The only negative issue with the bike are a few small dings on the top of the tank. like something was dropped on it.  

A $500 deposit is due within 48 hrs. of auction close. with balance due upon acceptance.   The bike is located near West Point. Ga - about 1 hour south of Atlanta. Local pick-up only. though delivery within a day's drive may be arranged for the price of gas and a small fee. Bike comes with a Bill of Sale only  - most states do not require titles for bikes of this age.  Email with questions or for more pics.
