Honda XR200 vinduro, enduro, project

For sale is my 1982 Honda XR200. Bought 18 months ago to use for vinduro events and a bit of green laning but as so often the case I've not found time to get started with it. hence for sale.  I have the V5 in my name and the last mot which expired in July 2010. the bike is currently SORN'ed. The overall condition of the bike is not bad and will be an excellent basis for restoration to original or light refurbish to use for vinduro etc. the wheels. frame. tank. and mudguards are all in good condition. airbox present and what looks like a new filter. fork legs and stanchions are good but there is a slight weep from the seals probably due to standing for so long. both side panels are scratched and have some cracks but both are ok to use. the seat is shabby and is fitted with a home made seat cover will need replacing. the original exhaust is fitted and apart from a little surface rust is in good condition. both sprockets are good. new clutch cable. there is a front brake cable but it is seized and there are the original headlight and rear mudguard both in very poor condition. there is no wiring for the lights and there is no speedo or horn. The photo's are about 2 months old but show the bike as it is now. when I took the photo's I couldn't start it up and found the carb full of stale petrol residue and debris. after draining all the old petrol it reluctantly started  but wouldn't tick over. I went to start it today and again reluctant to start and tick over. however once warmed up a little starts easy but still reluctant to tick over slowly. there is a healthy spark so I guess blocked pilot jet or similar. when running it sounds fine.  These bikes are getting quite rare now and make excellent vinduro or green lane bikes. this one does need some work but nothing major. please study the photo's and read the description I've tried my best to describe the bike accurately but please remember its now 32 years old! and shows all the signs of off road use.
