1979 Honda CBX 1047 CC. Referred to Lovingly by owner as "Bumble Bee". I think that fits the bike. Please View All Work Photos that were taken during Total Servicing of the Bike. The First Photo is of the Bike after the test drives right before Eddie left Knoxville headed for Nashville. The four last photos are of when I picked the bike up in Nashville (2ea) and the very last two are how it looks in my garage right now. today. a few minutes ago. For more photos. ask. I have a few more. Thanks for looking and Good Luck Bidding. View all photos. did complete tune up with carburetor rebuild. valve adjust with proper shims. ew plugs. new rear tire. new brake job with new seals and front master cylinder rebuild kit. etc. . new air filter. new battery (at time of work). nbsp; engine cleaned extensively and painted black. frame cleaned. everything adjusted. The seat is in beautiful condition. The bike performed great on its trial runs out to the lake and back. shifted perfect. rode great. excellent bike before it left the shop. Sold to Friend whom rode it to Nashville where he lived at the time. About five miles from home. to avoid a tractor trailer turning in front of him. he dropped it on right side breaking the right blinker off. the right mirror and scratching the end cam cover plates as well as cracking the crank cover plate. He didn't realize how much it shook him up. Then again before getting home he dropped it on the left side of bike. putting scratches on the cam cover plates and breaking the left front blinker off. This was much to our dismay. as you can imagine after you see the amount of work that went into the bike and the extras that we went to as he is a friend of mine. It still hurts to see the bike in its present condition. It needs a through cleaning and a few bolts replaced that have rusted while sitting in the shed at his sister's. probably (definitely) an oil change and various things. He ask if I would pick it up at his home in Nashville and has decided now to sell it as is. It sat at his sisters in her shed in Nashville for about a year & a half for safe keeping after he went to Seattle to work. It has been back at my shop for another year waiting until he has decided what is best for him. He has made the decision. like stated earlier that he wants to sell it as is instead of fixing it and shipping it to him in Seattle. Now the decision is yours. whether to Buy it or Not. Good Luck Bidding and May this bike be a wonderful bike for you. Should you win the bid on the bike. I would say that a new chain would be in the works and just check everything out as good as possible before you start riding it. I have not touched it except to move it inside my garage. Mileage since I did the work. a little over 200 to maybe 250 miles. Down once on right side and Down once on left side?¦?¦?¦. Bike is sold As Is Where Is?¦?¦?¦. I am listing it for my friend and his mother?¦?¦?¦?¦Buyer is responsible for any shipping charges and may pick up if desired.
