1995 HONDA cbr600 RED

 hi am selling my cbr600f much as I don?ˆ™t want to but the missus wants rid as its too quick and she don?ˆ™t like it. got this bike in a bit of a state with the intention of tidying it up. have fixed the mechanical things bar the rev counter but cosmetically didn?ˆ™t get far. she starts and runs superbly never let me down. the brakes do the job with the Goldfren pads she's got on. could probably do with braided hoses tho ive never felt the requirement since it stops so well as is. have put on -2 front +3 rear sprocket giving it plenty of go off the mark and he top speed wasn?ˆ™t affected too badly. Although the clocks read above what you are doing as its a gearbox reading speedo. about 8-10% out. when the bike reads 30 you do about 28 and when she reads 100 its about 92 according to my following friend who was trying desperately to match speed for clocking. you can get speedo correcter s but i never bothered or gps would work too.  the rev counter pin has separated from the needle so no revs are shown. there is a signal coming from the box to the clock but the pin just spins and the needle just sits at the bottom. when i bought it i replaced the rear axle. bearings. spacers. wheel nut. fork seals. sprocket + chain. the carbs were balanced with a carbtune proled indicators were added but one got bust when a pheasant had me off 30mph. happened the day my crash bungs arrived was on my way to fit them and off i came. o and it has crash bungs fitted (now)i have a replacement r-handside fairing lower not yet fitted. 2 newish tyres michelin pilot roadneeds lots of body panel work most of them were bad when i bought it. have been thinking of Chinese replacement repsol kits for £350 but never got cash together for it. couldnt see the point as it rides so well her looks have never bothered me. I?ˆ™ve racked up quite some miles and his bike has never missed a beat. mechanically this is a great bike but cosmetically lots to do. great project. winter hack or first time bike as it does everything so effortlessly tho maybe a little quick for some. call 07814 704210 pete
