Honda NightHawk 700sc (1984) , MOT Expiry Date 2015, Mileage 40,000

Nighthawk 700sc. in fairly good condition for its age but hasn't had any restoration. the pictures make it look better than it is. So it's scratched and has some sun damage and a small nick on the seat. Recently has had new fork seals. before it's mot. Battery is a month old. Has a non standard 4 into 1 exhaust. and non standard indicators. these are still switched on as running lights. These nighthawks weren't sold in the UK. only brought in on import. you can find plenty of information on the net about them and enthusiasts in the US. Starts well. its just had it's carbs cleaned. they found one mixture screw seized/broken and the carb gaskets have some damage. Main problem is that it's blowing smoke when warm. looks like a cylinder problem on the fourth cylinder (blackened plug) and possibly on cylinder one but that's only a slight blacken. I have just fitted a new valve seal and that's weeping but that's probably due to the cylinder problem. It needs someone who wants to spend the winter stripping the engine down. its very easy to work on and most parts are available in the UK. n the UK its a rare bike but not in the US. I've owned it since 1997. be sad to let her go but can't face more swarfega. :)Need anymore information then drop me a line.
