Honda CRF 150 R MX Moto Cross Enduro bike

This is a 2007 model Honda CRF 150R ?ˆ“ big wheel.

I bought the bike in July 2012 for my son. Although it had been looked after mechanically. it was a bit rough cosmetically so during October and November 2012 I took it apart and rebuilt it (note: not the engine which I left as it was). I had the frame powder coated and replaced many parts ?ˆ“ see below)

He rode it during 2013 but only once during 2014 as he graduated to a full size 125 two stroke. It was ridden principally at the Little London Enduro practice track near Inkberrow in Worcestershire and a couple of time at the J4M54 motocross practice track ?ˆ“ he doesn?ˆ™t race although he will be next year.

We put a new UFO plastics kit on it (£90) with custom graphics from fusion MX in Hereford (£110). They should still have the design on their system. We also put on Renthal bars (£45). a Delkavic Exhaust Header (£80) and a new FMF Powercore 4 silencer (£260). The bike came with a FMF Factory 4. 1 silencer with a FMF Megabomb header. These were a bit knocked about but will come with the bike.

The frame gets scratched a lot by the rider?ˆ™s boots ?ˆ“ take a look at pictures of these bikes for sale where there aren?ˆ™t any frame guards ?ˆ“ so I fitted Light Speed carbon frame guards (£66).

The petrol tank is a dull black so we put on a Pro Carbon tank cover (£40) plus the following

Pro Carbon Chain Guard (£35)

Pro Carbon Exhaust Guard (£65)

Apico brake pedal (£45). Zeta rear brake clevis (£10). Zeta stem nut (£10). Zeta red engine plug (£20). RFX foot pegs (£70). Talon sprocket (£25). Pulse racing billet fuel cap (£30). Red hi-flow carb tubes and new red hoses for the water cooling. The bike came with zeta unbreakable levers which would be about £35 each new so we left these on.

The prices above are the approximate list prices ?ˆ“ I?ˆ™ve rounded up the 99p?ˆ™s. All in all there is over £1. 00 worth of extras at list prices.

The bad bits

1.        The one lever is bent (see picture) but is still usable. I?ˆ™m sure it could be straightened with some heat.

2.        The one radiator has a dent in the pipe (see picture). I have a replacement radiator which will come with the sale.
