Here's a custom street tracker bike that was just completed & driven for the past month. It starts. runs. shifts. stops. and drives perfectly.   This is my ninth custom bike build. Four (including this bike) have been featured on the popular custom bike website:  thebikeshed. ccMy last bike was sold to a customer in New Zealand. I may even consider paying for all or part of the shipping. No expense was spared on this build. The only original parts used from the nighthawk donor were engine. swing-arm & frame. This is a fun little bike to carve around on. I guarantee you will not see another like this. These engines are known to be practically bulletproof. I built this with a minimalistic design. which makes it very lightweight and agile around corners. 1986 Honda CB450SC donor bike with 3000 miles. Title is clear and in my name from Wisconsin. Engine Work:Compression tested and is within specvalves adjustedoil changedcarbs professionally cleaned. all gaskets and diaphragms replaced. then synced and re-jetted. Engine cases powder coated black high temp matte finishnew MAC 2-into-1 header with factory high temp black coating and new exhaust gasketsKerker slip on exhaust sounds awesomeI have retained the use of the stock airbox for better tuning and better running engine- these carbs don't like to use POD filters. new petcock. fuel line. inline fuel filter and gas tank capnew drive chainBody and Frame workbrand new CB400F reproduction tank- no tank liners. no rust. no dents. no bondo work - its a completely new virgin metal tank. aluminum side number plates hide stock airboxtank and side covers painted with black. white. and metallic gold with silver pin-striping. High quality genuine OE vinyl decals on tank are coated over with several fuel proof clear coats. Suspension and wheels:

CX500 front end completely rebuilt with new seals. oil and fork dust gaitersFork lowers media blasted and powder coated blackCX500 front wheel media blasted. powder coated metallic gold. clear powder coated and rebuilt with all new seals and bearingsCB400T Hawk rear 18" wheel media blasted. powder coated metallic gold. clear powder coated and rebuilt with all new seals and bearings. notice that the front wheel is 19" and the rear is 18" for a more balanced look. most builders cheap out here and leave a 16" wheel on back. I tracked down the Hawk 18" rear wheel and spacers required so this bike would look better. Rear shocks are genuine Showa that had the springs powder coated black. look closely at wheels and you will even see they have the extremely hard to find little plastic Honda logos that snap on the ends of each spoke. Brand new Shinko 705 tires with new tubes and valve stems- 40 miles on these tires.

Electrical:

Wiring harness completely made from scratch with high quality. heavy gauge wireelectrics and battery box completely concealed underneath seatCharging system fully upgraded to state of the art MOSFET regulator/ rectifier for stable voltage output so lithium ion batteries can be used safely electronic ignition with all new plugs and wiresall new relays. switches. starter solenoid. ignition switch. separate hidden headlight switch. fuses. brake switches. etcShorai lithium ion battery pack is very tiny yet provides over 250 CCA of starting power. completely hidden underneath seatwrenchmonkey style metal turn signals- these are all metal and powder coated. I have added some videos below. One shows cycle walkaround with lights and signals Other video shows startup and drive around with shifting- please note the temperature was 35 degrees. I warmed the bike up properly for 30 seconds prior to filming. Even with 35 degrees outside. it started up immediately and ran well after 30 seconds.

For those who are interested. I have added a few additional pictures below. The first picture is the donor bike for the cycle on this auction. As mentioned above it was a low mileage 1986 CB450SC Nighthawk in great shape. except for torn seat. As you can see. it does not resemble the donor bike at all except for the engine and significantly modified frame. The pictures seen after that are some recent builds that I have completed and sold. all to happy customers.
