Honda CBR600F-3

Here we have up for auction my 1998 HONDA CBR600F-3.

I will try and describe this bike as best as I can.

I have owned this bike for just over two years roughly and in that time she has never missed a beat. As you can see its not in concourse condition it's a little rough around the edges but nothing major considering its 16 years old. But mechanically it is sound and starts on the button from cold without a issue.

The bike has covered 24 thousand odd miles and has 6 months tax and mot. the bike has been serviced by myself about a thousand miles ago having new filters and oil. The bike has a double bubble screen and a slip on can (not sure the make) and sounds really nice but at the same time is not to loud.

Now to the bad bits there are scratches to both sides of the panels from previous owners none are really major one is reasonably big but you will have to look for them they don't really stick out. There is only stickers on one side of the rear panels again it was like that when I purchased the bike. The only thing I have done since owning the bike is removing the front mudguard as it was being held on by cable ties and was a failure on the mot but it passed when it was removed. I did not keep the mudguard as it was to badly damaged on the mounting points. Its due for a new front tyre. The valves need adjusting as they can be heard but im not sure if that's how there meant to be anyway. I have done some research and its common on the f3's from what I can tell. But if you do some research these engines are bomb proof and do the miles no problem.  There is a chip a little smaller than a 5 pence peace on the tank and a rip around 5cm on the seat.

There might be quite a list of bad point but I just wanted to be clear this bike is used.  However that's all you need to do is ride it and you will see she pulls really well and the gearbox is really smooth brakes are strong. To ride she's faultless I would say. with a little money spent she will look as good as she rides I have no doubt.
