A lovely one owner Honda VFR800 FIX (XXXXXXXX NOW SOLD XXXXXXXX)

I have owned this motorcycle since it was first registered on 19th April 1999. I did approximately 11. 00 miles in the first year. when I did a couple of tours abroad. to Spain and Portugal. It then spent the next five years in Jersey. doing very few miles. Since returning to the UK mainland in 2005. it has been used as my summer toy and only done about 2. 00 miles a year. I have all the old tax discs and MOTs to verify the mileage and lots of receipts. The bike is completely standard. with the exception of the touring Scottoiler and the Meta 537 V2 immobiliser/alarm. The only other purchases of note is that I replaced the regulator/rectifier (a common fault) in 2005 and in 2010 Bridge Motorcycles (Exeter) replaced the head bearings with tapered rollers (the only time it failed an MOT). I also had the exhaust down pipes replaced with a set of Motad stainless ones only last year. Unfortunately. I am having to sell the motorcycle as I am emigrating at the end of the year. I had just bought a set of Honda brake pads and heavy duty DID gold chain and sprockets (its first chain!) as I had intended to take my bike with me. However. the export costs and import duties involved make it financially prohibitive. It has always been garaged under the tailored dust cover shown. and the paintwork is still excellent. I will throw in a yellow Baglux tank cover. the custom-made Classic Additions indoor cover and the Givi touring kit. wing rack. top and side boxes.  I have priced the bike competitively to sell and I am sure the next custodian will enjoy owning this bike as much as I have. The bike may be advertised elsewhere and I reserve the right to withdraw the motorcycle from sale at any time.
