1978 Honda CB550K

Nice original condition apart from the exhaust pipes and paint.

Not UK registered but is on the NOVA database with no duties to pay.

Still has original yellow paint marks on some of nuts and bolts.

Starts runs and rides not been stood forever.

Chrome work is very good with a little pitting on small part of rear wheel rim.

Seat is excellent with no rips and base is solid .

I have owned this bike for a couple of years and intended to do a cafe racer but I have since bought a CB750 so this has to go.

Tyres good but not sure how old.

Brakes work - not seized.

Work I have done - I had the tank powder coated in white then it was primed and sprayed in metallic black.

Side panels done in metallic black.

Carbs ultrasonically cleaned.

Fresh oil . oil filter . air filter cleaned . new plugs . and new handlebar grips.

UK headlamp (used) fitted . It had an aftermarket fairing which was removed.

Needs - chain and sprocket set . front indicators and battery.

One seat hinge pin.

Some work to finish but not too much.

All parts available new or pattern from David Silver.

With a bit of work and a little money will make a lovely classic or cafe racer.

Not sure what it's worth so it's 99p start and no reserve. I reserve the right to end the auction early for ANY reason and at ANY time.
