I have owned this bike since 2003 when it was given to me by my father in-law who was a previous owner as my first motorbike to get me on 2 wheels.

It has served me well as daily commuter. until the original engine started to make a tapping/knocking noise.

A second hand engine was sourced and swapped over with original. bike used as daily commuter again.

electric pickup for ignition broke on second engine so removed from original.

tacho pickup from top end of second engine broke so removed from original. but on removal noticed that tappets had sheared. so maybe that was causing the knocking noise from the original engine but cant guarantee it though.

Anyway honda used daily again. until one morning whilst riding to work the second hand engine decided to die on me. now this engine can not be turned over electrically or by hand.

but i think if electric pickup and tacho pickup was swapped over you may have a good original engine n another engine to take apart and repair.

Bike had two brand new Avon RoadRider tyres put on just before last MOT and bike broke down not long after.  

I was planning on repairing the bike but I just haven't had the time and it just taking up room in the garage.

Please look at pictures on condition of bike or your most welcome to come and view motorbike. but i dont have any lights in garage so it is advised to view the bike during the day.
