Lovely example of the top of the range ASPENCADE version of the venerable 1100 cc Goldwing.

*102000km/63. 00 miles . We are not convinced that this is the real mileage as the bike was imported from the US where we would have expected an MPH speedo. The bike does not look to have covered so many miles but could have been used for just sunny season touring.

The 1100 flat four fires easily and soon settles to a quiet tick over devoid of any untoward mechanical noise . It revs freely and sounds sweet.

It is in well above average condition for a machine of this vintage. The only real blemishes of note being on the rear of the front mudguard which has some scratching and some stress cracks on the underside of the fairing which do not detract from the overall appearance .

We are in the process of checking he machine over but the only obvious item requiring replacement  an MOT is the front tyre . We can replace this and obtain an MOT if required so long as our costs are covered -estimated   ??30 for the MOT and ??90 incl VAT for a good used tyre. fitting and taking to the MOT station.
