HONDA XBR500F BLACK EXCELLENT CONDITION RARE ORIGINAL VERY LOW MILEAGE

HONDA XBR500F BLACKOne of a few remaining in the UK in original condition except for the front indicators which have been move to a higher location due to a mounting bracket that perished. I have owned this bike from new in May 1985 when it was one of a small batch specially shipped to the UK and has number 99 etched on the engine block!I have kept this bike garaged ever since and only ever saw light of day on sunny days!It even went with me in a van to Holland in 1990 for a 3 year holiday from the UK but again was hardly used. The bike was was MOTed last year for the first time in many years with the intention of using it. It has new tyres (old ones were hard with age) and a new battery. The bike was never used and was again MOTed in November '14 it has a 12 month ticket. Only aging signs are oxidation to front forks. the paint work is still superb. The exhausts are original and one silencer has had a weld repair some years ago. The electric starter is not the best with this big single so I always kick start it but starting is no problem and the engine runs sweetly. This is a reluctant sale. I am never going to use the bike and I need the space for other projects. I would like this bike to go to a good home and continue to be looked after for years to come. its condition after 29 years is a credit to its makers.
