1978 HONDA CM400A HONDAMATIC 11K (nice original,runs,rides,stops)

This is a decent bike and everything works as it should. She has been sitting a while so it could use a good carb cleaning(presently runs but has a little bog at low end) The best thing about this bike is anyone can ride it!! If you can ride a bicycle. hen you can totally ride this bike. Very easy to control and will reach highway speeds with no problem. Tires are good and there are no unusaul engine sounds and in fact the motor is really smooth. The centrifical clutch works just fine. You have 1 and 2(low@high)and of course nuetral. You can start out in any gear. ut i like to start out in 1 and let her get up to about 40mph then shift into high 2. If you start out in 2 it is just a little less torquey but will gain speed quickly. the seat is like new and most of the chrome is very nice except at the very end bottoms of the mufflers there is some bubbling rust thru areas. The lights and gauges all work. this is a great commuter bike and I like to drive into a fast food place and pull out of the drive thru with my lunch in my left hand(heck i could probably eat while riding also if I did not have other traffic to worry about. ) anyways the bike is all original with a new gel battery and new plugs. lus all new fluids. she is ready for a new owner. i also have the original owners manual and tool kit. I also have a nice factory engine guard/highway peg system. nd also a rear rack off another 400 I had in the past(all yours if you want it. )
