1991 Honda Nighthawk 750. I used this bike as my primary means of transportation for several years. and I hope someone else will get some enjoyment out of it as well. I'll be as honest as possible below because I hate being duped by a seller. The good:Custom semigloss black and yellow paintCustom Corbin seat. model "Lady and Gunfighter". Stupid name. but nice seat. Paint and chrome in good conditionStill runs well--I was using it every day until about a year and a half ago. Garage keptNew fork sealsLarger rear sprocket for more low end power off the line at the expense of top speedNew air filterI have the official shop manual and a Chilton's. The official manual alone is quite valuable. Honda brand nylon saddlebags includedThe bad:It's a 23 year old motorcycle. so it has the expected wear and tearSome rust on the rear shock absorbersSome bluing on the exhaust. which was fairly standard for this model (google images will back me up on that)Standard issue Honda oil leak from bottom of engine. In fact. it will probably smoke a little when you start it up because of the oil on the engine bottom. Again this is really common for this model. You might call it a feature. It's a couple of drips a day. It's just marking its territory. The carbs probably need a cleaning because it's been relatively stationary. May leak when started. but a cleaning will clear that right up. Unfortunately. the battery just died when the temperature dropped. Cannot resurrect it even though it's Halloween. A new one will run you about 45 bucks at Walmart (size 14A-A2). I just had it out and about last week. though. Shipping is all your responsibility. Again this is a good bike. and it's hard to find one like this anymore. It's a standard. so you sit upright. yet it's shaped and rides more like a sport bike. It's kind of the best of both worlds.
