Honda fireblade cbr900 929 rr not r1 r6 zx9 gsxr

Unfortunately the time has come to sell my fireblade 929 as I'm saving for a house. I have owned the bike for over a year now. nbsp;its barely covered 500 miles this year. I don't want to sell it but its no good sitting around when I need the money.  

The bike is fitted with a few extras including. A16 racecan (sounds nice but loud). an iridium screen. scottoiler. and led indicators the bike also has a K&N air filter.

The bike has done 25319 miles and is MOT'd until April next year. I can MOT it for peace of mind should the new owner wish. It comes with 2 keys. and some service history from previous owners. unfortunately I pay my mechanic cash. so have no receipts for work over the last year. but could put you in touch with him should you require it.

the mileage could go up slightly but it wont be by much. I also have the standard exhaust should the new owner want it.

In the time I have owned her. she has had the following:

Full service last year including NGK iridium plugs (about ??80 for the 4). K&N filter. and of course fluids and filters

New tyres at the end of last summer (Bridgestone bt023's)

Fork seals and oil replaced at the beginning of this year

Battery. regulator and generator (all new cost around ??300) at the beginning of the summer

As you would expect for a bike of its age. there is a few marks here and there due to the age. but nothing drastic and she cleans up very well indeed.

the worst of the marks are on the lower fairings. from where she blew off the stand in a storm last year. but unless you get on your hands and knees and actually look for them you don't notice them.

the wheels have some bubbling from where she has lived outside. again though when cleaned up they don't look too bad.

all in all she is a relatively clean bike for the age. and when washed and waxed looks beautiful.

Now for the bad bits. if you can even call them that! every bike has its niggles and this ones no different

right hand side mirror has become loose on the ball and socket that moves it. the arm stays in place. just the end flops downwards. this is nothing that a blob of glue wont sort out. or worst case scenario a new set of mirrors (about ??30). I never sorted it as my arms are too long to see anything from mirrors anyway. so I just turned my head round more often.

the starter button. again this is far from a problem but id rather be honest. you have to push the start button in the right place for it to work. it works everytime without fail. I believe some water may have got in there.

that is all I can think of for "bad bits" neither of them make any difference to the way the bike starts. rides or handles but I would rather be honest so you know what your buying.

this bike has done me incredibly well for the last 18 months I have owned it. the only problem I ever had was when the generator went (common on these) which has now been replaced so wont have to worry about that for another 14 years!

the bike starts and rides beautifully. you would never know she is 14 years old. everything is tight and smooth as it should be.
